I'm starting to work on screen printing and more serious types of artwork besides anime and fanart. I really want to end up making actual workable art that I can really be proud of.
I also want to end up being able to make a living doing things that I love. I've recently quit my job of 4 years because it became ridiculously stressful and wasn't fun. I've also been going through some soul searching with my acting career and everything else. I've determined that if it isn't fun it's not worth doing, especially when it causes you stress to the point to which it was causing me.
So, I've decided that while this journal is good for certain things (fanart and crappy anime drawings and the like) it's not a very good way to put myself out there. I need something more refined and serious.
So I'll still be maintaining this, but I'm going to be working on a new dA, a professional myspace, and hopefully a site.
In the mean time, check out
She is an awesome artist and has lots of really amazing things up there. She has a gallery in Scranton October 3rd at Phoenix Cuts, so anyone in the area needs to come and check it out (and buy stuff!).
So keep an eye out!
